 Dr . Martin Polin, a native of South Florida, received his Bachelor of Science Degree, graduating with honors, from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where his program of study included a major in chemistry and a minor in Psychology .
Dr. Polin earned his Dental Degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from Tufts, he spent one year in general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he received extensive training in all specialties of dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Society, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Deal and Prime Study Club and a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry. Fellowship is an honorary degree earned after successfully completing over 500 hours of postgraduate technical education in all aspects of patient care and by completing a prescribed examination.
As one of the first dentists in South Florida to use porcelain veneers (as seen in Extreme Makeovers), Dr Polin has been perfecting smiles for over 20 years.
Dr. Polin, his wife Carol and three daughters have lived in Boca Raton since 1981. He enjoys traveling, excercising, skiing, golfing and spending time with his family.
